ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ben is a Southern California-based photographer creating commercial, editorial, adventure, and portrait work for clients who want imagery with a genuine sense of place, people, and experience. He approaches each assignment as a complete visual story, moving between defining moments, environmental context, portraiture, action, and the details that reveal how the people, place, and experience fit together. The result is imagery designed not simply to document what happened, but to draw people in, create connection, and communicate what makes the subject worth experiencing.

Why I do this

I believe photographs have a remarkable ability to bring people into experiences they never witnessed themselves. That is what draws me to visual storytelling: finding the people, places, moments, and small details that together reveal the larger story. I want my photographs to create connection—to make someone stop, look closer, and understand why what was in front of my camera mattered.

How I work

I begin by listening—understanding your goals, your audience, and what success looks like for the project. From there, I build a thoughtful production plan and collaborate closely with the people who know the brand, subject, or environment best. Preparation gives us a strong foundation, while experience and judgment allow me to adapt in the field without losing sight of what we came there to accomplish.

Fun Facts about me

My family and I collect adventures more readily than souvenirs. We travel often, love exploring far-flung places, and rarely need much convincing to try something new. Wherever we're headed, there's one piece of luggage that isn't negotiable: the camera bag.
